Exposure

Fridays. The best day of the week, excluding weekend of course. This is the day that signifies the end of another hectic work week. The day when you can stay out longer before heading home, and sometimes you dont even care what time you arrive home (either it is still Friday or if it is already a Saturday), because there’s no work tomorrow. It is the perfect time to expose everything and vent out for how hectic/ tiring/ dragging week that was.

Friday for me is always the icing on top of my red velvet cupcake. It is the perfect time to have dinner with friends, shop a little bit, stroll anywhere, have coffee or simply have a great conversation with friends (and dont forget: laugh all you want). Eventhough the entire week was a drag, I really wonder what’s with Friday that it still make me smile, laugh and simply enjoy it. I managed to still have enough energy saved for Friday.

As for this particular Friday, I had a nice dinner with my work friends on a pizza bistro near our office. As usual, some very interesting things have been exposed. I will not go through it here because some are too personal and doesnt even involve me at all. Though some are just so plain hilarious that I cant help but smile and grin up until this moment when I remember those funny things. After that very loud dinner, we moved to our favorite coffee house. We learned to play a new “shallow” game: we think of someone we know that resembles the person who happened to pass our table. We even had this very weird agreement that we will not go home until a stranger will walk-by who look like one of our co-worker. That’s quite a challenge since that particular officemate is so unique in her own way. After like laughing, talking and playing that game for almost 2 hours, we finally gave in and decided to go home instead. Well that was my Friday. Hope you enjoyed the start of the weekend as much as I did.

And I think that this would be the perfect time to be productive and work more on my blog. Since, I have some inspiration for my blog entries.

Lastly, I love Fridays because it makes me look back on my week and appreciate the week it was.

Make That Shorties Work For The Weekend

“How time flies when you are with your friends” – a real proven cliche.

For this particular weekend we are supposed to go to the beach but it didn’t push through. Our plan B was supposedly to dine at Tagaytay, have coffee there and go home but we decided instead that was so time consuming and we will waste of time. So instead, we decided to dine somewhere near and have coffee afterwards.

We reminisce a lot and laugh a lot. We’ve talked about some people we hate ~ I know that is so shallow but admit it, you love to do that and laugh all you want and what really a coincidence is when you check facebook or twitter those people you hate have a status update or tweet. 😉

What’s really nice was knowing that I’ve known these people for quite some time now. To be exact, a year less than a decade. It sounds like we are so old now. Way before we’ve only been talking about vaccines, pathophysiology and NANDAs; but now we are talking about relationships, plans and getting old ( some even tried to be a matchmaker – you know who you are hahahaha ). We shared views about dating in general, like are you willing to date a foreigner and things like that. It was like a PG version of Sex and the City last night.

Since we decided to stay in the metro, I opt to go on a very breezy outfit last night. We are still in the middle of summer and the nights are hotter than ever. I wore the shortest shorts and paired it with a louse polo shirt from Maldita. No accessories added and to be honest I feel like so naked without one thing dangling from my neck or arm, but on the bright side I was happy I didnt wore any because it was so effin hot. So can you imagine me on a Saturday night without a hint of fancy accessory? Well it does happen. So my arm candy or arm party or what ever you call them will be on hiatus until summer is over. Didn’t I say before that white shoes are the thing during summer because once rainy season starts I dare that you wear your white shoesies.

Smile, Line, Classic

“Classic Lines” – simple and staple to any wardrobe. It is like the “black” of the prints.

Today is the second day of May. May has been so good for me so far. I even think that we will be the best of friends. Hahaha.

Speaking of friends and since it is a Thursday, I posted a “Throwback Thursday” photo in instagram. One of my bestest best friend who is now in Italy is featured on that particular post. I hope she reads this and remembers all my “pabilin” – Adidas by Jeremy Scott, bag galore, and French Macaroons. 😉 Honestly, I so missed her and all our chikahan moments. Too bad that I wasnt able to talk to her via Tango. That app is a pain in my ass but what can I do, it is still better than Skype and Viber.

Traffic’s too heavy right now. In fact I am writing this post while on transit. When I get home all I will do is run a shower then sleep and get ready for tomorrow.

Will.I.Am is keeping me company through this traffic. As of now, I am playing “Gettin Dumb” ft apl.de.ap & 2NE1 ~ my fave track off #willpower. Hopefully, I will be able to do a review of that album. There are some runway worthy tracks from #willpower.
