After so much time, I got the chance to blog again.
Since, this was way long overdue, I was still sporting pink pastel hair and still kinda long. I already moved to kind of dark brown silky shiny hair. There are just those time that you will feel that you need to move on and have a change.
The entire look is still very summer despite that this was taken early March: from stripped top, baggy (ahjumma-kinda look) pants to juicy blushed face.
Waiting for a Summer Breeze
Stripes are staple to my closet and I have tons of them. This stripped shirt is from H&M. Baggy straight pants are trendy nowadays and we even sometimes joke around that it is kind of reminscent of “ahjumma” style. I think I have been watching a lot of K-Drama recently tho. Straight baggy cropped pants are just perfect for summer season as it is relaxed and can easily mixed with almost everything. Lastly, finished the look with a clean beige slip-ons from Cotton On.
‘Til the next pose & post!
PS. Summer is in full bloom here in the tropics. I honestly wish we have spring or autumn over here.
Nowadays, I opt to go for minimalist look compared to when I was younger I have tendency to go for maximalist. I don’t know if this is a sign of maturity (or ageing – whatever you call it. LOL).
Black Is One Of My Faves
When I cleaned my closet before Christmas, all I see is a sea of muted colors of black, whites and grays with sometimes hint of blues and very minimal to none for loud colors. I guess my affinity to muted colors is because of my ever changing hair colors. I promise to blog about my hair color adventures soon, so better stay tuned. Even my to-go-to colors for shoes are gearing toward grays and blacks. I really think that the streamlined Asian aesthetic influenced me to go for this style. I like how simple pieces make up interesting overall look (topped by the my light pink hair).

Ever wonder where this wonderful place is? It is in The Alley At Karrivin in Makati City. The hidden place houses some furniture shops, flower shop, restaurant and very great coffee shop named “Writer’s Block”. I think I’ll also start blogging about my coffee adventures too?
Gray has been my to-go-to color and it has been a constant color on my OOTDs. I know I’ve said this before that whenever I go to a store my eyes gravitates first to grays and blacks. Another reason I love picking up grays for my OOTDs is because it is one of the colors that you can easily mix and match with almost everything. If you want monotony and minimalist, pair it with black. If you want to go all out kawaii, pair it with killer colors. You can never go wrong with grays, in my own opinion.
In The Midst Of All The Colors
What is really fascinating too is that it my gray wardrobe pieces can easily coordinate with my ever changing hair color. This is a proven fact – I’ve tried pink (light and dark), purple, lilac, violet and blonde, and all those hair colors really coordinated well with gray pieces.

Since, I kind of said it this post that I almost tried all sort of colors, please stay tuned for my next entry to know more how I get those funky, kawaii and pastel hair colors. Details really soon (I promise!)
Stripes are something I can consider as staple in my closet. I have almost all manageable style of stripes you can think of and my most favorite one is the black and white thin style. As far as I remember, I have been wearing stripes all my life. I even saw a baby picture of myself wearing this style.
As you would have known by now, I love simple and clean aesthetic. I even reference my style as “minimalist kawaii”. Stripes are something that I can easily mix and match to my style. You can wear this style no matter the season is. You only need to know when to wear the best perfect stripes for the occasion or season.
Simple Yet Cute
I really find it amazing when I see a stripes style with an “attitude”. Something shouts “I am not a normcore stripes” but at the same time still a classic staple. I find this very amusing top from Uniqlo UT collection which features capsule collection for different themes. I personally love these shirts from Uniqlo that I always make sure to include Uniqlo on my shopping trip every time. Aside from that, Uniqlo has got me hooked because of their clean and classic aesthetic.
By the way, I am wearing a combination from Uniqlo. Both top and bottom are from Uniqlo. Top is from Uniqlo Dick Bruna UT Collection.
Ever since I moved to a light pink hair, my affinity to something light or nude has increased as well. It is not something new but amidst all my monotone gradients in my closet, I find myself buying more and more pastels (or light colors). I honestly think that some of the hair colors have sipped in my brain so that nudes and pastels will rule my buying impulse.
Basic, Clean and Sweet
For this look, I’m going for a sweet, basic look that compliments my light pink hair. Thanks to my light pink hair, I always get stopped at shops/ boutiques and get compliments for my hair. I think so far, this is the best hair color I had and planning to keep them until the end of the year.

First style post from my vacation in the province of Ilocos. I’ve been wanting to go to the Ilocos province for quite some time now but rarely has the chance maybe because of the distance from Manila or most pf my friends have already visited the province once or twice. So as part of my birthday treat for myself, I’ve decided to finally visit Ilocos. Stay tuned for my travel diaries soon.
When it comed to vacation outfit, nothing beats a comfortable outfit. A short and and some t-shirt would be the usual suspects but how about we play it up a little bit.
If you been reading my blog for some time now, you have probably know my affinity with monotones. For this style post in Ilocos, I brought some of my blacks for this trip. Like I said most tourists opt to don short and t-shirt as their uniform as they ar the most comfortable when travelling (walking, visiting galleries and historocal places, etc). I’m no different, shorts and tshirt are my idea comfortable wear. The key is to be comfortable but stand out at the same time.
My all black ensemble also highlights my pink-dipped blonde hair which I’m loving now and planning to keep the entire summer.

Old School Backdrop Meets Modern Style
Don’t be afraid to wear all black on your next vacation. The goal is comfort and to stand out from the crowd of tourists. Always look the best whenever you are out and about. If black is not for you, choose what suits you best. The end goal is for you to be comfortable on what you wear without compromising your own style.
Nowadays, I’m into visiting museum. For the second half of 2015, I visited three museums and looking forward to make it four or five before the year ends. Well, thanks to my very busy schedule, I’ve planned multiple times to visit museums but somehow the plan is just a plan.
Casually Sitting In The Little Corner
For me, museums are the perfect venue for your OOTD shots. So I make sure to plan my outfit whenever I visit one.
It has been ages since a proper outfit post for my blog. A warm sunday trip to the outskirts of the Metro calls for some cool, comfy outfit for a trip in a museum.
Long Drop Top from Factorie. Black Leggings from H&M. Hat from H&M. Sneakers from New Balance.
Blog post about this museum trip, coming soon. So better watch out.
I made a mental note to myself that whenever I travel, I will always incorporate of what and who am I on all my ensembles. Traveling tends to go a little hectic and most of the the time, the last thing on your mind is “What should I wear?”. Good for me is that I have this Obsessive- Compulsive trait which definitely has its share of pros and cons, I always choose and plan ahead of time what would I wear for the entire duration of the vacation taking into consideration what places we will visit for that day, etc.
My must haves for a city vacation: light, breezy materials. Singapore is known to be way humid than the Philippines and the last thing I want to look like is that you look like “a hot mess” (like humid sweaty kind of hot) on your vacation photos. I packed a lot of lightweight materials for this Singapore trip. Another thing I can never let go is my forever love affair with anything that is black.
For this first style post in Singapore, I used layering to make it more dimensional and complex without sacrificing comfort. Remember that black compliments any color so this is the time that you can have eccentric prints and graphics to mix with your black ensemble. I also loving the length of the cardigan as it is quite a popular trend all over the world. Straw hats are very unconventional but who says that they are only made for the beach? As much as possible, very minimal accessories to give you more comfort when moving or walking while enjoying the sceneries.
Long length cardigan from H&M. Printed tank top used as inner wear from Uniqlo. Light leggings from Cotton On. White sneaker from Moonstar. Hat from Forever21.
Last thing you will see me are on baggy oversized pants while on vacation. Not just me. ☺️
Do blondes really have more fun? That is one question almost everyone is trying to answer. Some beg to disagree especially the brunettes, while blondes definitely agree on that statement. I’m back to being a blonde, specifically an Asian blonde, for almost 10 months of being a brunette. Nowadays, more and more Asians are being more experimental with changing their hair color as influenced by a lot of factors like emerging cultures, entertainment industry, etc.
Day Out In A Black Ensemble
Blonde In A Garden
This style post is my first post after going blonde again. For a day out in a museum tour, I opted to wear something breathy and light, in terms of materials used or fabrics. It is still summer here in Manila and that means temperature on 30s mark during broad daylight. Despite that it is still summer, I decided to wear an all black ensemble for a day out. The trick for using black ensemble, again, is to choose light fabrics. Black may not be a summer color but this classic hue can work it in any season.

It has been a long time since I properly had an OOTD post. An OOTD post in the city to be specific. The last few OOTD posts were summer wear. This time around, I am back with some street wear post.
Street wear has been my staple aesthetic whether for some cay out with friends or for the weekends. Due to the tropical location of the Philippines, it’s kind of hard to do layered fashion, maybe only for the exemption for the months of November, December and January. For the rest of the year, you have to stick to single layered fashion or you can still have layered look but you need to be meticulous on choosing the type of garment used.
This look is for a day out with a friend in a food destination in Quezon City.
Jersey top is from Factorie. Hard wooled leggings from H&M. Sneakers from Nike,
Ending this post with some selca with my brown hair. Already transitioned to blonde after 9 months of being a brunnette.
